Despite the lockdown and the uncertainty over when football will restart, managers Simon Westlake and Ben Washam aren’t resting on their laurels.

Looking to the future by strengthening the squad, the managers are pleased to announce the signing of striker Lee Hawkins.

The former Callington Town and Plymstock man comes with a reputation of being very much a team player and is consistent in giving very strong performances.

Simon Westlake said of Hawkins;

“Lee is a welcome inclusion with us at Dobwalls. As an attacking player with a clinical eye for goal, he will be a positive Influence on the pitch. Lee has a strong competitive spirit which will also add great value to a team that prides itself on upsetting the form book with their steely performances…”

Whether the 2020/21 season restarts, or whether we wait for a new season, the club welcomes Lee and look forward to seeing him work his magic in a DFC jersey.
